The Bishop’s Blessing Community Outreach Program was created to support persons within the community who are in dire need. It works in partnership with local media and agencies in identifying individuals who are in extreme need. Realizing that bad things happen to good people, the Bishop’s blessing assist individuals in getting back on their feet. Letters are written to specific media organizations detailing the needs and an independent team determines who receives the weekly blessing. No Monies are given directly to individuals. Awards are given once a week to assist persons with the following:

• Food
• Rent/Mortgage Payments
• Utilities
• Transportation to Work Assistance
• Insurance Gap Assistance
• Back to School Items for Kids
• Christmas Gifts for Under-Privileged Kids
